HOW TO PRAY
Praying to God is a wonderful gift that he gave us and he gave it to us, because he loves us so much and wants to share and be close to us and praying is a way to have that bond with our Father. He wants to communicate with us to speak to us, this may sound way out there for someone who has never experienced that before but this is more than true.
How terrible it would be to go through life and have never used the gift of praying, God so badly wants to talk to all of us, yes even those who think that they live their life not to God's word. He knows you need him, just talk to him

Psalm 42:1-11 ESV To the choirmaster. A Maskil of the Sons of Korah. As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long, "Where is your God?" These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival. Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation ...

5. Prayers should be steady and persevering, even when there is no answer or when there doesn't seem to be any relief in sight. He says. "Watch and Pray, Seek and knock" til the door that reveals God will be opened.
